The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia has decided to postpone the trial final exam dates for eighth-grade students. This decision has been made to allow students better preparation and adaptation to the final exam process.
New Schedule for the Trial Final Exam
- Mathematics Test: Friday, April 25, 2025.
- Serbian (native) language and elective subject test: Between April 22 and April 30, 2025 (exact dates to be determined by each school).
According to the original schedule, the exam was supposed to take place on March 21 and 22, 2025. This adjustment provides students with additional time to prepare and become familiar with the exam process.
Purpose and Importance of the Trial Final Exam
The trial final exam serves as a simulation of the actual final exam and has several key objectives:
- Familiarizing students with exam procedures (arrival time, necessary supplies, exam rules, organization, roles of teachers and supervisors).
- Allowing students and teachers to assess their current level of preparedness and identify areas that require additional focus.
Special Test for Adult Candidates
Participants in Functional Primary Education for Adults will take a unified test on April 25, 2025, covering:
- Serbian (native) language,
- Mathematics,
- Natural and social sciences (biology, geography, history, physics, chemistry).
Modification of the Third Test Selection
Eighth-grade students can submit requests to change their selected subject for the third test between April 7 and April 10, 2025. The final list of selected subjects will be published on April 11, 2025, at 8:00 AM on the Moja srednja škola portal and in schools.
